Good Sunday evening, you guys! Woah. Has it really been about 3 weeks or so since my last update? I didn't mean for there to be a drought, of sorts, of new entries. I'm so sorry! The time has just seriously flown by. But boy, do I have alot to talk about in tonight's post! Where should I even begin?! 🤔
Well, I guess I'll get to what's more on a "personal" level. Life has been more or less the same, the usual routines, me being extremely tired after work each day...yeah, no sudden change there! 😅 Spending the weekends with my boyfriend, though, are such an escape and breath of fresh air that I need after the craziness of each work week. We've driven up to Long Island, went shopping (and then some window-shopping 🤭) at the mall, and ate out at such *yummy* diners. 🤗 We couldn't do any of that this weekend, however...because we got struck by mother nature's unmerciful wrath! Which in 'lamens terms' means we just had a blizzard. ❄ I mean, the weekends are my only source of free time, especially Saturdays, and this whole weather fiasco just had to happen this week. 😞 Not only was the snow a pain, but so was the frigid cold we've been experiencing too! I, somehow, made it to work and back today, although I managed to dodge a fall onto the snow while crossing the street this afternoon. Yeah, winters on the east coast? Not much fun. But, that was basically my weekend. I stood home, went to work when needed, and now I hope for a more productive weekend to come my way this week.
What else to update about...oh yes, I finished watching season two of Emily In Paris a few weeks ago, and when I say I "loved" it - I wholeheartedly mean it! 🥰 For those who watch the show in general, and I won't spoil anything for you guys, I promise...please tell me I'm not the only one who's shipping Gabriel & Emily so damn hard! ☺😍 Naturally, I feel like the writers know they are 'endgame' but are just dragging things along to make us continue watching...oh, and to just simply torture us as we watch as well. 😫 I mean, seriously! But I'm telling you, this show is one of the most fun, entertaining, and enjoyable shows I've watched in a very long time. And it's gotten renewed for two more seasons! 🥳 Yes, I'm oodles full of excitement for that. 😊
Heh, speaking of the show, Saturday Night Live actually had a skit involving it, or should I say, "indirectly" involving it, when they had retired football player Peyton Manning on to discuss the championship games before the super bowl...when he really just winded up ranting about Emily in season 2! It's gold, and his comedic timing is *spot* on. 👌 I'll link the video in the bottom so you could watch it for yourself!
Before I end tonight's entry off, just wanted to feature a little bit of BLACKPINK's Jennie as she glams the cover of 'ELLE' Korea's February issue. 💜 What glamour she holds! And this upcoming month of February holds many comebacks in the kpop world as well, so I can't wait to discuss about them as well. Until then, or at least another week or two, I'll be writing again real soon and I hope you all stay warm and safe outside during this blistering cold season of winter!
