Weekly Roundup + Time for some DRAMA!

Good Evening! And happy friday, everyone! Yes, I've updated for the second consecutive week in a row. Is that another record of mine?! 😅 Trying to break the habit of 'forgetting' about this blog and making sure I update some more, and more often. How was everyone's week? Mine was...busy, of course, but what else is new. Sunday started it all off with a comuter's nightmare, when I had to fully use the city buses to get to work, since the subways weren't working due to track maintenance. Some piece of advice...never, ever, get on an insanely packed bus on a Sunday afternoon. Or any afternoon/time for that matter. It's just not worth feeling like a sardine stuck inside a can. I hate crowding to begin with, so after such a terrible commute this past week, I'm avoiding huge crowds on buses like it's the plague. Never doing that again, no matter how desperate I feel. The work week, itself, went relatively smoothly. We did get bombarded with lots of phone calling & processing from Wednesday on, though. I, somehow, managed to charge over 200 credit card payments in about 4 hours. And what a long four hours they sure were. 😓

In other news, in case you haven't heard as of yet, the SAG-AFTRA actors' strike is officially OVER! Which means my two favorite shows, Emily In Paris & YOU, could presumably begin filming again! But I'd imagine they won't start up filming again until sometime in the new year...but hey, it's something to look forward to! It's not like this strike affected me, personally, but it's nice to know that actors and writers are now back to doing what they do best: creating! Another current event I'd wish was over was the current unrest in the middle east. I won't go into this topic as much, but I'll just say that terrorists should be wiped off the face of this earth! And as a Jewish person, anti-semitism is never accepted or tolerated. I pray the hostages, the hundreds of hostages who've been held in captivity for over a month now, be released soon. And may we only hear of good things, peace, and love between everyone of the human race. 🙏

In music-related content, lots of cool releases to discuss about! This week's biggest release is aespa's newest mini album, titled DRAMA. I don't know how these ladies manage to top themselves with every release, but they do! You must check out their video down below. Also posted will be the solo debut of SOOJIN & the long-awaited comeback of ARTMS's HeeJin! I hope you'll enjoy the videos as much as I have been. Tonight, I plan on watching another friday-night holiday movie on Hallmark channel, tomorrow morning I'll grab my weekly pink drink from Starbucks, and I'll spend the weekend with my fiance! I'm so excited. ❤ I'll be updating again soon & I thank you for taking the time to read this update. Until next time...happy weekend!

xoxo, Lisa
