Good Morning, you guys! Happy Saturday! Yes, I've successfully managed to go, yet another, month without posting another update to my blog. 😝 But hear me out! October, especially after my Sukkot break, was hectic as heck. Considering my next significant break won't be until April of 2024, we had quite alot of work to get back to after the high Jewish holidays. But as of right now, everything at work has been going relatively smoothly, thank goodness. 🙏
As for myself, I'm doing pretty well! At least now I am. I had this pretty bad cold for the majority of the week, so that knocked out any remaining ounce of strength I had in my system. Well, the constant talking on the phone at my job also knocked out not only my energy...but my voice. 😓 It's coming back, though! I think due to our temperatures here in NYC, going from 60 degrees to 40 degrees in no time, is causing a shift in not only our climate but in our bodies. I honestly can't recall temperatures being so...unstable? when I was growing up. Winters were exclusively cold, we had tons of snow, and that was that! Nowadays, our past few winters have been relatively mild, we have had maybe one major snow event, and that's that. I mean, I'm not complaining! Even though it looks like I am. 🤭 It's just the seasons feel so all over the place and I'd prefer just one set season of expected temperatures - not unexpected. Such is life, I suppose, bringing us the "unexpected" one day at a time. 😛
This might be a quickie update, but I feel like I'll have more to report on later in the month, especially once Thanksgiving approaches! Yes, I'm so excited for the holiday. I'm so excited for the coming season that I'm watching Hallmark movies every Friday night to get myself into the holiday spirit. 🎉 But before Hanukkah & Christmas can arrive, the turkey needs to be devoured, and my fiance & family will all be enjoying ourselves some turkey, all right! 🦃 Speaking of enjoyment, 2023 is totally the year of the comeback! And another girl group to make their long-awaited comeback, for the year, is Weeekly. I love their newest title track, 'VROOM VROOM', and I hope you will too!
