Lisa's Fall Vacay! 🤗 #VacationTime

Published on 26 September 2021 at 22:43

Good Sunday evening to you all! Lisa here, again. 🙋‍♀️ Since my last update, at about 2 weeks ago, lots has happened...followed by a bit of "nothing", if you will, but I'll explain about that in a second. 😉

So yes - these past few weeks have been absolutely craaazy! Work wise, at least. I mentioned previously about this month being full of Jewish high-holidays, so in order to finish things up before we're on a week or so break to mark the end of it all, we had to finish up everything, and I mean everything over at our job. To say my co-worker & I were overwhelmed would've been a bit of an understatement. 😓 We had to process information, payments, etc...all within a few days time! But, we did it, and since this past Monday, I've been on our 'Sukkot' break. It's another Jewish high-holiday and the last of the season. I will officially not be home on another break for another good 6 months. 😳 I'm dreading it already...but, it does give us all something to look forward to, at least.

Since Monday, I've been enjoying my free time away from work. I've been traveling around all different parts of Brooklyn, shopping, eating yummy foods, spending time with my boyfriend...and just living, and loving, life. It's much needed after all the work we just got done! I've continued listening to my music and watching korean dramas. I definitely reccomend you watch Hometown Cha Cha Cha - starring Shin Minah & Kim Seonho. They are the cutest couple and it's a drama that will surely make you so happy and feel full of hope and healing. ☺ Speaking of music, our girl group ITZY have comeback with their very first album, "Crazy In Love", and I'm loving the title track and video for it, "LOCO". I'll post the link to it down below for you to check out! Earlier today I went to our local amusement park, got ice cream, took a starbucks run, and had a *delicious* Italian dinner! 😋 So yeah, I'd say I'm pretty satisfied with how my day and this entire vacation has worked out. I can go back to work on Thursday with truly no regrets. 😁 And it's satisfying to also have time to simply do nothing and just relax and lounge around in the comfort of your home, from time to time, but especially during your time off from work. But until next week, I'm soaking in this much free time as much as I can get! Since, you know, it's not Thursday just yet. 🤭

I hope you all have yourselves a wonderful week ahead and don't worry - I will be updating more frequently as the weeks go by. 😉 I hope you'll enjoy this post and have a good night!

xoxo, Lisa. ❤
