Good evening, ladies & gents! Lisa here. ðĪ I know, I know...I haven't posted a new entry in what seems like forever - but I'm still here! And writing this blog entry on a rare Monday night where I'm not working because we're celebrating the Jewish New Year, also known as Rosh Hashanah! I've got a good two days off of work now because of it, and speaking of work, work has been insanely stressful these past few days...my hormones were a raging mess, I must confess. ðĪŠ You'd think that by now, at the age of 29, I'd have more of a grip on how to deal with certain situations or handle certain emotions better...but hey, as adult human beings, we're a constant "work in progress" - so I take each "not so finest" moment of mine and try to learn from it and how to do things differently in the future. That's all we could really do! Do not beat yourself up over things that you make you human - you're an imperfect human being and that's okay! You're still *awesome* anyway. ð
So let's see, in other news, I am now fully vaccinated! I could go into any place in New York and be allowed entry. But most importantly - I am now safe from Covid-19. Or at least, catching a very severe case of it. With both times, I've gotten barely any side effects, however when I took the second shot this past Friday - I had a slight upset stomach for a little while. Who knows if that's from the vaccine or just from the fact that I'm a heavy *soda* drinker...yeah, no alcohol for me! ð Regardless, I'm alive to tell you all the tale so until the next booster shot we might possibly need to take, I'm good. ð The weather here lately hasn't been so good, to say the least. We got hit hard last Wednesday for a good hour or so with remnants of Hurricane Ida. My area was alright - but if you search videos throughout the web of other parts of the city, you'd be in shock. Or horror. Or both. It was insane. My thoughts and continued prayers go out to the folks of Louisiana who were hit the hardest out of it all. Natural disasters never get any better, it seems. Just worse. ð
On to a more happier note - it's another jam packed week in kpop! So much new releases to share with you all, but first, I'll begin with girl group STAYC and their new release, "STEREOTYPE". ðķ I'm addicted to this track! These girls always know how to make such catchy yet chill kind of songs! The video is so sweet and cute too. ð I'm leaving the video at the bottom of this post so please be sure to check it out! ð
Well, I'll be back with another update later this week! Until then, enjoy your days and I'll be back real soon.
XO, Lisa. âĪ
