And speaking of 'enjoyment' I am hoping everyone has been enjoying the month of June so far! I can't believe the summer solstice is already next week! June 20th, to be exact. ☀️ I will be one of the many to proclaim their love for summer. It's my favorite season of 'em all! Although, spring would come in as a really close second, probably because of my birthday being the first full day of it and all. 🙃 But no, summer trumps all! So I'm very happy it's almost officially the season of warmth, vacation, and fun. 🤗 Earlier this week, I was off from work on Wednesday & Thursday in observance of the Jewish holiday of Shavuot. It was extremely nice, and refreshing, to have two days off during the week. I won't be off on another weekday until my summer vacation, which is usually at the beginning/middle of the month of August. So I relaxed, picked up my weekly doses of bubble tea & starbucks' pink drinks. Slept in, and also started on watching this new drama, My Sweet Mobster, starring actor Uhm Tae Goo & actress Han Sun Hwa. Basically, the drama follows the male-lead and his newly reformed image of not being a criminal. Meanwhile, the female-lead ends up entangled in his life, somehow, and that's where the magic & fun begins! I'm loving it, though, and that says alot, considering I didn't watch k-dramas since April of 2023. I had just finished a melodrama, at the time, and it sucked alot of emotions from me. Beautiful drama, don't get me wrong, but it was just an emotional rollercoaster. So watching this drama, this romcom romance, is very peaceful and enjoyable for my soul as well. 😊 I can't wait to watch new episodes every Wednesday & Thursday!
I just got back from being downstairs, and outside, at our local park and I had my second soft-serve vanilla ice cream of the week! Courtesy of our beloved Mister Softee truck. 🍦 Although I initially wanted the hard strawberry ice cream, but this particular truck did not carry it. Some do, some don't. Why can't they all have them? 🤷♀️ But I had a nice mid-afternoon snack until my fiance & I go out for dinner this evening. And another wonderful thing about Saturdays? Getting to be with my loving fiance ❤ even though we were already together last night after I got done with work. Today he's the one going into work & I'm home. 🤭
In the world of k-pop, many releases have been...released! I really gotta try updating more frequently and posting about certain ones.
