Happy #SundayFunday! And happy first weekend of the month of February as well. 😊 We've successfully made it through the first month of 2024! And exactly how fast did that go?! Very fast. 🥴 I say this quite often, but I still find it to be true in my eyes. Life just creeps up on you, more and more, once you're an adult. Especially when you are consistently working and with a set routine...each day just slides right into the next! Even in the moment when you feel as if time is going dreadfully slow, you're soon reminded of what day it is, and it's a huge shock to the system. Doesn't anyone else feel this way...or is it just me? Naturally, there are pros & cons to this, and I'm not complaining about it all, it's just an observation I'd like to point out. That's all! Anyway, I guess before you know it, I'll be updating and it's already March! But...let's probably not rush things that quickly, shall we? 😝
So, this week has been pretty much more of the same. Tonight I have no night shift at work, so it felt great to come home this afternoon and not worry about work in the next few hours. Yesterday, besides for being Saturday, was a very fun day! We did a bit of a belated birthday celebration for my fiance. His 40th birthday was last month, and I was really struggling on what to get him as a gift. Because one, it's a milestone kind of birthday. Then two, I wanted it to be something special yet useful and practical for everyday life. I ended up purchasing him this exquisite Timex watch and he loves it so much! As I love him very much as well. 🥰 We then relaxed and watched a few episodes of Family Guy on FXX. As someone who's watched South Park since she was like...7 years old, you'd think I'd appreciate the fact at how cruel, raunchy, and twisted another cartoon can be. But Family Guy sure takes the cake...it's ridiculous! Hilarious but ridiculous. We love watching it, anyway. 🙃
In the world of kpop releases, G-IDLE has released their second full-length studio album, Two, which I admit to not listening to quite yet. But I am very much obsessed with it's title track, Super Lady, which I'll be linking the video to down below. It's AWESOME! And G-IDLE are continuing to push boundaries in the music scene and are unapologetically being their true selves. With stunning visuals to boot. 😍 I hope you'll like it as much as I do! And I will be taking a listen to the whole album as the week goes by. 😉
Alright! I suppose that's all for tonight. Oh, before I go, I do want to highlight my new haircut & pink blouse! It's so comfy and warm, and in this cold weather, it is very much needed & appreciated. ☺
